Flower Power!

When I first started my journey into photography, I wanted to find a way to use pet portraits to help dogs in need of homes. When Riley, the coordinator of ElderDog Canada: Fredericton reached out to me I was happy to help out because I love their mission and all that they do for dogs and their owners.

If you haven't heard of them, they're a non-profit organization with wonderful volunteers who provide care and support for older dogs who have had a change in their home environment due to the illness or death of their humans along with many other services such as assisting the elderly in the continued care and well-being of their beloved canine companions. For all these reasons, I adore them! I'm also a big sucker for a grey snoot and gentle soul, but who isn't?

I wouldn't have been able to pull off these Flower Power portraits without Riley at ElderDog! She crafted up this beautiful floral collar for the dogs to wear for their session.

Take a look at the adorable dogs who rocked their flower power sessions!

I'm looking forward to hosting more mini session events this year and teaming up with more dog rescue organizations! If you're a pet rescue animal organization and I can help, please get in touch! I'd love to hear from you and talk about fundraising ideas together. I love to help!

If you can't get enough of these cute smiling faces and flowers, you can view the entire gallery here:
